Thirumavalavan’s works translated into Telugu

Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi founder and Chidambaram MP Thol. Thirumavalavan’s compilation of speeches, originally titled ‘Adanga Maru’, which was translated into English with the title ‘Uproot Hindutva’, has now been translated into Telugu. The book was released in Vijayawada.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Thirumavalavan said the book had been translated into Telugu separately by two people – Telangana VCK president Jilukara Srinivas and Murali Kumar.

“Meena Kandasamy translated two books into English. Another poetry book has been translated into English by journalist Kavitha Muralidharan. But ‘Uproot Hindutva’ has impressed both Murali Kumar and Jilukara Srinivas. This shows that we agree ideologically. The book was written 20 years ago, and both Jilukara Srinivas and Murali Kumar share the sentiment of uprooting Hindutva. This is how Dr. Ambedkar has connected us,” he said.

Mr. Thirumavalavan reiterated that faith was different from the Varnashrama Dharma created by Brahmins.

“The BJP’s Hindutva agenda is to safeguard Sanatana Dharma. The Constitution written by Dr. Ambedkar is an alternative to Varnashrama Dharma. It saysall human beings are equal, and has the strength to defeat Sanatana Dharma,” he said.
