Nizamabad: The district administration will host the Rythu Mahotsavam (Kisan Mela) from April 21–23 at the Government Giriraj Degree College grounds, agriculture minister Tummala Nageshwar Rao is scheduled to inaugurate the three-day event as chief guest.
On Saturday, district collector Rajiv Gandhi Hanumanthu inspected the venue along with state and district agriculture department officers, overseeing the installation of 150 stalls. Exhibitors will demonstrate advanced crop-cultivation techniques, modern farm machinery and prospects for setting up agro-based industries in the region.
Progressive farmers, agricultural scientists and industry experts will lead interactive sessions, while banks, start-ups, private firms and farmer producer organisations (FPOs) have been invited to showcase financial services, technological innovations and market linkages designed to bolster farm incomes and sustainability.
