Hyderabad:Students from the Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TGSWREIS) delivered outstanding results in the Intermediate Board exams declared on Tuesday. First year students from nine gurukul colleges and second year students from 26 gurukul colleges achieving 100 per cent results.
TGSWREIS secretary Dr Alagu Varshini said that the gurukul students had set a record that has not been achieved in 10 years. She congratulated the students, teachers and principals for the results.
Out of 13,940 second year students, 11,979 passed, registering a 86.16 pass percentage. In the first year, the pass percentage was 77.48.
Several students got state ranks in different subjects and categories. 2nd year MPC students achieved 2nd ranks with 995 marks, while 1st year MPC students also achieved 2nd ranks with 468 marks. 1st year BiPC students also achieved 2nd ranks with 438 marks.
