Ranveer Singh has given back to back underwhelming releases at the box office like Cirkus, Jayesh Bhai Jordaar and 83. Despite Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani being a hit, a lot of credit for this film went to Alia Bhatt.
The comeback he really needs is expected to come with Dhurandar. Its ensemble cast of powerful stars like R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Akshay Khanna and Arjun Rampal has a potential to deliver a big hit.

It is reported that the film will be set in the 1970s and 80s era. The shooting for the action drama is done for 70% part of it and it will wrap by July this year.
Ranveer’s dynamic personality really needs him in a role that puts him at the spot of high end performance. Fans feel that this will be a huge comeback for Ranveer and after that he will get big roles one after another.

Fans are expecting the release of Dhurandar by March or June of 2026. In the line-up he also has Don 3 which has faced a lot of delaying but now his path seems much clearer than before.
