Toyota Hyryder 7-Seater SUV SPIED – Launch In 2025

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has finally started testing its new three-row SUV ahead of its launch in the second half of 2025. It will be based on the Hyryder, and take on the cars like Hyundai Alcazar, Tata Safari and Mahindra XUV700. A test mule of the upcoming Toyota Hyryder 7-seater recently caught on camera wearing, heavily camouflaged, in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Let’s take a look what the spy images have revealed.

Design Details:

While the rear profile of the test mule was well-covered, the LED taillamps were still visible, appearing sleeker than those on the 5-seater Hyryder. Although most of the design elements look similar to the 5-seater Hyryder, the extended side and rear sections, along with newly-designed alloy wheels, distinguish it from its younger sibling. The spy images also showcase roof rails, conventional pull-type door handles and rear wiper, carried forward from the 5-seater Hyryder.

This new 7-seater SUV is likely to come with a larger touchscreen infotainment system and a larger digital driver’s display. The feature kit might also include a HUD (heads-up display), multi-colour ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, an 8-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat, a wireless phone charger, ventilated front seats, an electronic parking brake, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and a 360 degree camera. To enhance it safety quotient, Toyota might equip it with the ADAS (advanced driver assistance system).

Engine Options:

The Toyota Hyryder 7-seater is most likely to come with the brand’s 1.5L TNGA Atkinson Cycle (with an electric motor and a 177.6V lithium-ion battery pack) and 1.5L, K15C mild hybrid powertrain options, borrowed from its 5-seater counterpart. The strong hybrid setup delivers a claimed combined power of 114bhp, while the mild hybrid configuration is good for 103bhp and 137Nm.
