Hyderabad: The Task Force (Central) team along with the Malakpet police nabbed two citizens from Bangladesh for allegedly entering India through donkey route and illegally staying at Saleem Nagar with fake documents. Further, four agents who facilitated fake birth and other documents were also arrested.
The arrested persons are Mohd Hasibul (25) alias Jovan Chowdhury, a food delivery agent and Rohan Saha (21), a construction worker, both from Saleem Nagar Colony in Malakpet and natives of Bangladesh. The agents are Mohd Muqeed, a pan shop owner, Sai Kiran, a DTP operator, Rajnikant, an agent and Sudheer Kumar, an out sourcing computer operator at Narsingi Municipal Office.
According to the police, four years ago Hasibul illegally entered India with the help of traffickers through donkey route from Benapole district in Bangladesh to Bongaon district in West Bengal, a significant cross-border by paying Rs 25,000 to agents.
“He stayed in Kolkata and started working as Karate trainer for Rs 20,000 monthly salary and obtained fake Aadhaar card in the name of Jovan Chowdhury. Further, he became friend with a woman from Malapet on social media and fraudulently married her by concealing his identity,” said a police official.
He settled doing garments business and food delivery services. About eight months ago, the agents helped him in getting fake identity and citizenship proofs including Aadhaar Card and voter cards.
Further, Habibul illegally brought his friend and fellow-country man Rohan Saha, a tourist guide to Hyderabad, who was earlier staying in Kolkata illegally without any valid documents. He helped in arranging fake identity proofs as well.
Based on information, the Bangladesh citizens and local agents were nabbed.
The arrested persons along with the seized material were handed over to the Malakpet police for further action.
