Nizamabad: A 32-year-old woman, Padma, was found dead near the grave of her husband Babu, in Nagaram on Sunday morning, police said. The couple had three children.
According to the V Town police, Padma had died by suicide on Saturday. Babu had died of health complications nine months ago, and Padma had not been able to overcome the trauma of his passing.
On receiving information, police recovered the body of Padma and sent it for post-mortem to the Government General Hospital. A case has been registered, and further investigations are underway.
Nizamabad North Rural circle inspector B. Srinivas told Deccan Chronicle that Padma’s parents lodged a complaint on Saturday and said they would take responsibility of her three children.
