Comeback Indian film of Pakistani superstar to be delayed

Abir Gulaal, the much-awaited film starring Fawad Khan and Vaani Kapoor, was originally scheduled for release on May 9, 2025. However, sources within the industry now suggest that the release may be delayed.

The change comes in light of the recent terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir, which has created a politically sensitive atmosphere across the country.

Given the film’s themes and timing, the makers are reportedly reconsidering the release date to avoid controversy and ensure a smoother launch. On the other hand, fans want the film to be banned in India.
