Hyderabad: Justice PC Ghose-led one-man commission, investigating the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project (KLIS), is likely to submit its report in the third week of May. The commission’s extended term is set to conclude at the end of this month, and Justice Ghose has reportedly asked the state govt for an extension of one more month due to pending work and the wait for the National Dam Safety Authority (NDSA) report.
Before wrapping up the inquiry in the third week of May, the commission may summon former chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and former ministers T Harish Rao and Eatala Rajender. Sources said Justice PC Ghose, who arrived in Hyderabad on Wednesday, is in the process of finalising the report as he received the vigilance report on Medigadda and two other barrages, Annaram and Sundilla. He also asked the NDSA to send its final report to incorporate it into his report.
He will be in the city until May 2 and will resume work on May 10 to submit the report in the third week of May.
