HM Shah Meets President Of India With ‘Red File’

After the deadly terror attack in Pahalgam, the situation in India is very tense. On Thursday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar met President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan. During this meeting, Amit Shah was seen carrying a red-colored file, which caught public attention.

The meeting happened just two days after the attack in Pahalgam, where 26 people, mostly tourists, were killed by terrorists. This attack has created anger and sadness across the country. People are demanding strong action against those responsible.

The Rashtrapati Bhavan shared a photo of the meeting on social media platform ‘X’ and wrote, “Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah and External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar met President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan.”

After this high-level meeting, many are wondering if the government is planning a strong response. On the same day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave a public statement and said, “The ones who carried out this attack will face punishment beyond their imagination.”

Sources also said that India has informed the top diplomats of about 20 countries, including the USA, UK, Russia, and several European and Asian nations, about the Pahalgam attack and India’s stand on it.

The Indian government has already taken some strong decisions. These include shutting the Wagah-Attari border check-post and canceling the SAARC visa exemption scheme for Pakistani citizens. Pakistan responded by banning trade with India and closing its airspace to Indian flights.

All these steps suggest that India is preparing for strict action in response to the terror attack. The red file seen in Amit Shah’s hand has become a symbol of something big possibly coming soon.
