Hyderabad:The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) on Thursday carried out a demolition drive, clearing over 10 footpath encroachments in Sri Ram Nagar, Kondapur.
The illegal structures were situated on both sides of the main road in Sri Ram Nagar. The action followed multiple complaints from local residents, who had recently warned authorities of a possible protest if the encroachments were not removed. Responding to their concerns, GHMC officials deployed heavy machinery to dismantle encroachments.
