In a major success after the Pahalgam Terrorist Attack, the Indian Army Security Forces have killed Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) top commander Altaf Lalli in an encounter that happened in the Bandipora region in Jammu and Kashmir.
After knowing about Altaf’s location, the Indian Army and J&K Police launched a joint operation earlier today. This led to an encounter, where a terrorist was injured, a few Indian Army soldiers were injured, and Altaf was killed.
Meanwhile, intelligence reports stated that LeT’s Chief Hafeez Saeed played a major role in the Pahalgam attack. He was reportedly managing the LeT’s module in Kashmir, which consists of mostly foreign terrorists and a few local ones. Apparently, a few locals have been helping these people to get logistical and information support and to provide safety.
Following the attack, the Indian Army has been countering the terrorists in Kashmir by actively attacking their camps. In the process, they killed Altaf Lalli today. A few days ago, terrorists attacked Pahalgam, killing more than 26 innocent tourists. Many people were left injured in this attack.
