ANANTAPUR: A first-year MBBS student jumped from her college building in Kurnool district on Friday, reportedly due to stress over upcoming examinations.
Sources said the girl from Atmakur mandal in Anantapur district, was studying at a private college in Penchikalapadu of Kurnool district. Overwhelmed by the pressure of her exams, she attempted to end her life by jumping from the college building.
She sustained injuries and was immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment. The college authorities have informed her parents about the incident.
