While Samsung didn’t reveal the exact Galaxy S25 Edge specifications, it is expected to be the company’s thinnest smartphone ever. Now, a new leak has revealed almost everything we didn’t know about the phone, including its exact thinness, weight, build materials, and software.
Let us check out all the newly leaked information.
Galaxy S25 Edge is truly Samsung’s slimmest slab phone ever
We exclusively revealed a few months ago that the Galaxy S25 Edge will feature ceramic material on its back. Now, legendary leakster Evan Blass (@evleaks) has confirmed it. They posted an image, which appears to be a screenshot of Samsung’s yet-unreleased official press release. It reveals that the Galaxy S25 Edge features a titanium frame and Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 back.

The phone features a 200MP primary camera. The leaked image reveals that the Galaxy S25 Edge is 5.8mm thin and weighs just 163g. This makes it the thinnest slab phone Samsung has ever released.
Despite having a display as large as the Galaxy S25+, it is thinner than the Galaxy Alpha that was launched in 2014 and almost as light as the base Galaxy S25 (162g). Despite being thin, Samsung says the phone is quite tough and can handle everyday knocks.
For “smooth multitasking, seamless gaming, and uninterrupted streaming,” the Galaxy S25 Edge uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. Samsung claims the chipset also helps in offering “long-lasting battery life” on its ultra-slim phone. The device runs One UI 7.0 and personalized Galaxy AI features out of the box.
So, here’s the list of things that we now know about the Galaxy S25 Edge:
- 6.7mm thin
- 163g
- Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 for display protection
- Titanium frame
- 200MP primary camera
- Snapdragon 8 Elite processor
- 256GB/512GB
- 12GB RAM
- One UI 7.0 with Galaxy AI
