Hyderabad: Twenty pension payment orders and 15 General Provident Fund (GPF) authorizations were distributed by Hyderabad Collector Anudeep Durishetty and Principal Accountant General Chanda Pandit to pensioners and GPF subscribers during an adalat conducted at the Collectorate office here on Friday.
Around 16 pending pension cases were resolved and other pending cases were discussed with the departmental authorities for further information. A total of 32 pensioners and 10 subscribers attended the adalat. Eighty departmental officials attended the programme apart from pensioners and subscribers.
The adalat was conducted with an objective to facilitate the settlement of pending pension and GPF cases, particularly those awaiting responses from the departmental officials. It was also a platform for addressing the grievances of pensioners and subscribers in a coordinated and transparent manner.
