Hyderabad:An HYDRAA DRF truck, which was removing unauthorised hoardings and banners at Kukatpally, was struck by a vehicle that was attempting to evade a checkpost for drunk drivers
HYDRAA officials stated that around midnight on Saturday, the DRF staff were engaged in clearing unauthorised hoardings near a location where traffic police were conducting a drunk and drive check. During the operation, a vehicle, in an attempt to avoid being caught, swerved left and collided with the stationary HYDRAA truck.
Officials said the vehicle fled the scene after the collision. Although no injuries were reported, the front portion of the HYDRAA truck was damaged. HYDRAA officials refuted social media posts that claimed the HYDRAA truck was fleeing from the scene after removing banners and collided with another vehicle.
