Warangal: BRS working president and former minister K.T. Rama Rao on Sunday unveiled the CD of “Rajatotsav,” a new party anthem produced under the direction of former Greater Warangal corporator and Kakatiya University student leader Zorika Ramesh, at Telangana Bhavan.
Rama Rao praised the song’s composition and execution, noting that its lyrics — penned by Phoenix and rendered by singer Jerripothula Sandhyasatya — express the collective wish of Telangana’s citizens for BRS president K. Chandrashekar Rao to return as Chief Minister. He added that the track celebrates the party’s achievements while critiquing the performance of the incumbent Congress government.
The launch was attended by key BRS figures from Warangal district, including leaders Rajinikanth and Ramamurthy, party youth coordinator Rakesh Yadav and BRS youth leader Kamal Kumar, among others. BRS sources described the release as a milestone in the party’s continuing campaign to advance progressive change in Telangana.
