During his playing days, Ricky Ponting was one of the most feared batters and captained a hugely successful Australian side, leading the nation to two World Cup titles (2003 and 2007). and was part of the 1999 champion side as well. Since retiring, he has coached Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals in the IPL, alongside his stints as a broadcaster, with a keen eye for analysis. In IPL 2025, Ponting has a new challenge: coaching Punjab Kings in a bid to end their long drought for the title.
