Just like last year when films expected to release in the summer got delayed, leaving April a complete disappointment, this year is shaping up the same way.
The films expected to release haven’t arrived, and most of the ones that did have emerged as disasters.

Last year, the summer season was wasted, with only Tillu Square and Kalki standing out. Now, there’s a concern that the same might happen in the summer of 2025.
In March this year, Mad Square and Court were released, and they were the only two films that did decent business. However, the films released in April made little impact.

Movies Like Jack, Good Bad Ugly, and Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi Came and Quickly Faded Away. Odela 2 was a washout, and arjun s/o vyjayanthi, which started with Average Reviews, Lost Audience Interest.
The latest release, Sarangapani Jathakam, which came out this weekend, has divided opinions. Some liked it, while others found it outdated.

At the box office, the film is expected to collect around 3 crores worldwide gross in its first weekend, which is not enough to call it a success.
Films like Kannappa and The Raja Saab have been postponed. Several other films, like Hari Hara Veera Mallu, expected next month, have also been delayed.
The usual excitement among audiences has faded due to the continuous stream of bad films. The severe summer heat is making things worse, and the ongoing IPL season has taken a major toll on box office collections.
Now, all hopes for the summer box office rest on Hit 3 and Kingdom. These two films are expected to carry the weight of the summer.
