The Telangana Chamber of Events Industry (TCEI) celebrated the achievements of 50 women at the prestigious Stri Shakti Awards 2025, held at HICC in Madhapur here on Monday. The event recognised women who have made significant contributions to various sectors, including hospitality, creative arts and social change.
Minister for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development, and Women and Child Welfare D. Anasuya (Seethakka), who was the chief guest at the event, felicitated the inspiring women, highlighting the State government’s emphasis on empowering women through initiatives like the Indira Mahila Shakti Scheme.
Special Chief Secretary Jayesh Ranjan emphasised the importance of the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI) in fostering entrepreneurship and innovation, particularly for women. The awards ceremony featured four categories: Stri Ratna, Stri Murti, Stri Shakti, and a special SHG Women segment. Prominent women leaders from across India received the highest honour, the Stri Ratna Award.
CEO of SERP Divya Devarajan expressed pride in partnering with TCEI to recognise grassroot level women entrepreneurs and announced that SERP had engaged TCEI to train women as event managers, providing them with essential skills to succeed in the event industry.
