The 2025 Kia Carens has been spied without any camouflage for the very first time during its TVC shoot in Himachal Pradesh. The leaked images reveal significant changes; however, only the rear and quarter-rear profiles are visible. The updated Carens continues to carry Kia’s new design language, featuring sharper LED headlamps and a more upright DRL signatures at the front end. The rear section appears to be inspired by the Kia Syros, showing vertically stacked taillamps connected via full-width LED light bar.

More Premium Interior:
Official details of the new Kia Carens 2025 will be revealed at its launch on 8th May 2025. However, it’s expected to receive premium upgrades inside the cabin. Enhancing its safety levels could be the Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) and a 360 degree surround view camera. The MPV will feature a dual screen setup measuring 10.25-inch along with features such as ambient lighting system, ventilated seats, a premium Bose sound system, a panoramic sunroof and wireless charging with cooling function.
Engine Options:
No mechanical changes are expected. The 2025 Kia Carens will continue to feature the existing engine setup, which includes a 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol with manual gearbox, a 1.5L turbo petrol with iMT and DCT automatic gearbox options and a 1.5L diesel with both manual and automatic transmissions.
Positioning & Competition:
Interestingly, the new Kia Carens 2025 will be sold alongside the existing model. The premium version of the MPV will sit top of the lineup, competing with the higher trims of the Toyota Innova Crysta. Meanwhile, the existing Carens model will target the budget segment, taking on the higher variants of the Maruti Ertiga and lower variants of the Toyota Innova Crysta.
Expected Prices:
When it comes to the pricing, the 2025 Kia Carens is expected to come within the price range of Rs 11 lakh – Rs 21 lakh (ex-showroom). The prices of the existing Carens start at Rs 10.60 lakh and go up to Rs 19.70 lakh (ex-showroom).
