Every book holds the power to ignite imagination, broaden horizons, and inspire greatness. Recognising that, the Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TGSWREIS) has announced a library building initiative to help its children build a brighter and promising future for themselves.
Through ‘Shout Out for Children’s Books’, the Society has invited contribution of old and new books from book lovers, philanthropists, educationists, and the wider community.
“This campaign will be a transformative step in fostering a robust reading culture, empowering students with knowledge, creativity, and confidence for the future,” said TGSWREIS Secretary V.S.Alagu Varshini.
In the first phase, the Society will accept book contributions starting April 29 (Tuesday) at three locations from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Where to donate?
The contributions can be made by coordinating with the designated officers: Superintendents K. Venugopal (8919493096) and R. Sreepriya (7702228608) at TGSWREIS head office, Masab Tank; Librarian Swarnalatha and Jr. Asst M. Rajeshwari (9866230362) at TGSWREIS Saroor Nagar School; and Principal Kalpana (9704550228) at the Centre of Excellence (COE) Gowlidoddi.
