Final Destination: Bloodlines

Speaking with SFX Magazine (via Games Radar), Final Destination: Bloodlines co-director Zach Lipovsky suggested the film’s opening disaster will “throw [fans] for a loop.”

For this film, the first premonition takes place in 1969. There are lots of deaths during the premonition, which is what normally happens in the opening sequence of a Final Destination movie, but we then come out of the eye of a different person in the modern day. That’s new. For a lot of fans, I think that’s going to immediately throw them for a loop. It’s going to make them lean forward to try and figure out what’s going on. As moviegoers, we love it when you have to lean forward in your seat because a movie is being unpredictable. We switch up a lot of the predictability, including who’s going to die next and how they are going to die. You might think it’s one person, but it’s not. There’s a delight in that.

Daredevil: Born Again

During a recent interview with TV Insider, Dario Scardapane confirmed Dr. Heather Glenn will indeed return for the second season of Daredevil: Born Again.

That was the fun of what we did. You have two camps now. You have the resistance, and you have the administration or Fisk’s City Hall. And there are characters in both of those camps whose stories have just barely started. We have a character like Daniel Blake [Michael Gandolfini] who’s under the wing of Fisk, which has got to be an uncomfortable place to be, we have a journalist, BB (Genneya Walton), who are all inside the administration, you have an ex of Matt, Heather [Margarita Levieva]who’s now the mental health czar for this.

We have Matt’s former partner, Kirsten [Nikki M. James]who is now probably the last bit of legal recourse in New York. You have Cherry [Clark Johnson]a retired cop who’s probably the last bit of the thin blue line. So we have a lot of these characters that really are just now starting their stories in Season 2.
