The other day, the BJP High Command announced the candidate for the Rajya Sabha By-election in Andhra Pradesh.

The By-election is necessitated due to the resignation of Vijayasai Reddy. And there is close to three and a half years’ tenure left.

Usually, TDP should get this seat due to its strength in the Assembly.

Or Janasena, the number two party in the alliance, which does not have a representation in the Upper House, should get that. But BJP had its say on Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan.

Paka Venkata Satyanarayana, The RSS Leader From Bhimavaram, was picked for this seat.

A Simple Google Search revealed that he is another Pro-YSR Congress leader in the BJP.

He is a regular attendee at Sakshi debates. In many videos, he is seen praising Jagan Mohan Reddy and criticizing Chandrababu Naidu and the TDP.

But then, he is not as famous as the likes of Somu Veerraju, Vishnu Vardhan Reddy, GVL Narasimha Rao, and others.

Only recently, we have been Seen Chandrababu Naidu Making Somu Veerraju the MLC.

Somu Veerraju earlier and Paka Satyanarayana now, Chandrababu seems to have no problem with Pro-YSR Congress leaders getting good positions in this Government.

Probably, Naidu feels they can not wag their tails as much as they did between 2014 and 2019 because the Central Government is dependent on the TDP’s numbers.

Naidu is correct in the current scenario, but we can not say it will last forever.

The Simple Majority in the Lok Sabha is 272. BJP has only 240 seats in the house and is majorly dependent on the TDP and the JDU for its survival. With the allies, NDA is currently at 293.

The BJP-led coalition won the Maharashtra Assembly elections in November last year.

The broken factions of Shiv Sena and NCP, which are in the INDIA alliance, have seventeen MPs in the Parliament. In all probability, the Saffron Party will try to lure a majority of these Seventeen MPs to its side.

Bihar is going for the Assembly Elections next year. Nitish Kumar would like to continue in the NDA, and so, he is unlikely to pose any trouble to the Central Government.

We can not trust the BJP if its dependence on TDP decreases, and then, these Pro-YSR Congress leaders in the BJP will be a threat.
