After the success of the iconic “No cake, no entry” event held in San Francisco, where more than 1300 cakes were displayed at the venue, another event has caught the eyes of many. The largest cake potluck event on March 29th was nothing less than a surprise, which quickly gained popularity.
Hyderabad’s food picnic
Renowned for its vibrant café culture and creative community, Hyderabad hosted a cake picnic for the food enthusiasts on April 20. The venue for the very first cake picnic was Sobremesa Bakehouse in Jubilee Hills which was nothing less than magical. The café turned into a dreamy buffet where the enticing cakes surrounded the venue. Around 30 participants decided to become a part of the cake show.

From dreamy floral bakes to regular classic treats, the cake picnic had only one rule: “No cake, no entry.” Participants also had the opportunity to fit as many cake slices as possible into the box within 10 minutes, making it more interesting. Kolkata’s cake picnic
The cake picnic was definitely a surprise for all the sweet lovers out there. Shreya, a food enthusiast who goes by the name (@thesocialloop_shreya) on Instagram, hosted an exclusive cake party on Sunday, which was surrounded by fairy lights, delicious cakes, cake crew and much more.
The cake event witnessed 25 bakers with endless slices of happiness and memories we’ll never forget. Some decided to match cakes with their outfits, while many just went with the flow. The Kolkata-based party not only made memories but did set up a milestone for everyone.
