Mega hero Varun Tej has joined hands with Merlapaka Gandhi for a horror-comedy film. Rumored to be titled Korean Kanakaraju, the film is now in the production stage. Ritika Nayak is the female lead. UV Creations, in association with First Frame Entertainment, is producing this Indo-Korean project.
According to a recent report in Telugu media, Varun Tej has agreed to do a film with Radhakrishna. The director’s previous film, Radhe Shyam, starring PAN India star Prabhas, was a major disappointment. Post Radhe Shyam’s release, the director hasn’t made any announcement about his next. There were reports that the filmmaker would collaborate with his debut film hero, Gopichand, but there has been no development.
It is said that Radhakrishna narrated a love story to Varun Tej and that the latter was heavily impressed with the narration. Varun Tej’s form has been bad lately, with continuous failures. Mega fans have been asking Varun to attempt love stories, the genre that best suits the actor, and it looks like the Fidaa actor has paid heed to their requests.
