Police conduct cordon and search operations in Kurnool

To make the district crime-free, police conducted a cordon and search operation at Muzzafarnagar in Kurnool town on Friday morning.

Kurnool sub-division police, along with special parties, and armed reserve police, formed teams and carried out the operations. Searches were conducted at the residences of old offenders, rowdy sheeters and troublemakers. Drones were used during the operation, and foot patrolling was done in the locality.

During the operation, police seized 19 two-wheelers and three autos that did not have valid documents. Addressing the locals, the DSP urged them not to indulge in any anti-social activities and to report any illegal activities in the area. He warned of severe action against those indulging in illegal activities and mentioned that the PD Act would be invoked against history-sheeters, leading to their expulsion from the district.
