Fans of Kollywood star Ajith Kumar were anxious when reports of their favorite star’s hospitalization made headlines on Wednesday. Ajith was admitted to Apollo Hospital in Chennai to undergo treatment for a leg injury. Ajith reportedly sustained an injury to his leg when fans mobbed him upon his arrival at Chennai International Airport from New Delhi yesterday.
And here comes the much-awaited update. Ajith has been discharged from Apollo Hospital on Wednesday evening after undergoing preliminary treatment and physiotherapy. Doctors reportedly advised him to rest for a few weeks. Ajith received his Padma Bhushan award from the President of India, Droupadi Murmu, on Monday.
On the work front, Ajith had back-to-back releases in the form of Vidaamuyarchi and Good Bad Ugly. While the former ended up being an average grosser at the box office, GBU has emerged as a huge money spinner. Meanwhile, speculations about Ajith’s next project are going viral with each passing day.
