Former Indian Cricketer Shikhar Dhawan found his love once again. He has taken to Instagram today to officially confirm that he is in a relationship with Sophie Choudry. Sikhar has been dating Sophie for some time now, and today, the couple officially confirmed their relationship.
Sharing a picture on Instagram with Sophie, he wrote, “My love.”
Sophie is an Irish product consultant. Currently, she serves as Second Vice President – Product Consultant at Northern Trust Corporation, a leading American financial services company. Dhawan and Sophie reportedly met in the UAE, where Sophie resides.
Dhawan was earlier married to Indian-Australian former kickboxer and entrepreneur Aesha Mukherji. But their relationship came to an end in 2021 with a divorce. Reportedly, the couple parted ways due to differences in opinion about Aesha moving to India or buying properties in Australia.
While granting divorce to Dhawan, a court in India said, “the respondent, by conducting herself in the manner, has inflicted such cruelty, agony and trauma on him, that the petitioner couldn’t save the marriage.” It also followed by a painful custody battle for their son, Zoravar.
Dhawan retired from all competitive cricket in August 2024.
