Kaala Paani was a survival drama directed by Sameer Saxena that was released on Netflix in 2023. Following the success of its first season, a second season was in talks but now it is reported that Netflix has scrapped any chances of that happening.
This happened due to major budget constraints being faced by Netflix. Although the pre-production of season 2 had already started it didn’t go down the line because their budget demand was high.
