Kia has released the first teaser of its new MPV for the Indian market. It has been officially christened ‘Clavis,’ and it will be positioned above the Carens. The teaser video reveals some exterior details of the Kia Clavis. Primarily the front fascia, which includes large L-shaped LED DRLs and triple-pod LED headlights. It is also expected to get redesigned bumpers with silver inserts and new alloy wheels. Another important feature that has just been confirmed through the teaser is ADAS. The Clavis will come with a host of active safety features, including Collision Warning. It is also expected to get a panoramic sunroof, a larger touchscreen, a digital instrument cluster and a 360-degree camera. The Clavis is expected to be offered with the same set of engines as the Carens. These include the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines. Transmission options will include a 6-speed manual, 6-speed iMT and a 7-speed DCT. The diesel engine will be paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic.
