Four persons died on the spot and three others sustained severe injuries when a share-autorickshaw carrying devotees on their return journey from Srisailam overturned at Bairutly village of Atmakur mandal in the district on Friday (May 2). Police said the deceased and the injured were identified as residents of Adoni town in the district. Bodies of the deceased were shifted to the area hospital for post-mortem examination. A case has been registered.
