Popular Tamil actor Silambarasan, aka Simbu, is currently busy juggling various projects. He will next be seen in a lead role in Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam’s highly anticipated gangster drama, Thug Life. Meanwhile, Kollywood media is abuzz with speculations that Simbu will star in celebrated Indian cricketer Virat Kohli’s biopic.
During a recent chat show, Virat Kohli said that he loves the ‘Nee Singam Dhan’ song composed by AR Rahman for Simbu’s Pathu Thala. The chat show’s link was shared by RCB’s official X handle, and Simbu retweeted, saying, Nee Singam Dhan, followed by the red heart, fire, and lion emojis. Since then, fans of Virat and Simbu have been speculating about a possible collaboration between both the stars.
On the work front, Simbu has lined up a series of exciting projects, including a film with Dragon director Ashwath Marimuthu. Needless to say, starring in Virat Kohli’s biopic will make Simbu a pan-India star. Are the filmmakers listening?
