Natural Star Nani’s crime action thriller HIT 3 had a phenomenal start at the box office. HIT 3 is now the highest opener for any tier 2 hero in South India with Rs. 43 crores gross. Sailesh Kolanu directed this flick, and Srinidhi Shetty played the female lead. Nani is being lauded by one and all for his ferocious portrayal.
However, one aspect that is getting criticized heavily is the background score provided by Mickey J. Meyer. A few opined that the music director wasn’t able to do justice to the intense action episodes. Mickey has now responded to the trolls in his own style on social media. The music composer stated that Nani and Sailesh Kolanu demanded a score that was mood-based and not the usual loud.
He wrote, “Such attempts are risky but it paid off! My purpose in scoring is in the word it self, BackGround score, be at the back, not scream at the front!! unless required! takes time, i am ready to risk it all to get to a new zone of scoring! But again, i have always rebelliously walked in the opposite direction of how things are done in the industry! i love it!”
