Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc may be teammates on the track, but off it, their friendship continues to serve pure gold for F1 fans. During a candid exchange ahead of the Miami GP, Hamilton praised Leclerc’s singing skills—but Charles was having none of it.
“Charles is a really good singer by the way!” Lewis exclaimed, clearly setting the stage for another memorable moment. Caught off guard, Leclerc laughed and quickly denied the compliment: “No!! Last time you said I was a very good dancer and that wasn’t true at all. Now he’s a good singer and that’s not true at all.”
Hamilton, always ready with a story, recalled a late-night recording session that never quite got off the ground. “There was one night we were together and I had my setup to record in my room and then he’s like, ‘Okay Lewis, I’m ready to record!!’ And I couldn’t figure out how to—I was laughing so hard, I couldn’t figure out how to get the thing working so I didn’t end up recording him.”
Charles jumped in with relief, “That was a good thing you didn’t get the thing started because it would have been horrendous.”
The entire moment has fans rolling and re-sharing the clip online, cementing the chemistry between the two stars as one of the most beloved dynamics in the sport.
