A Lexus TX owner shares his experience with the Lexus app after trying out the multiple functionalities of the application

A quick review of the Lexus App
Home screen shows basic status
Neat and simple with car color on App matching with my car color. Excellent start.
Car status
Car status showing if doors and windows are locked along with tire pressure — but wait, why is my car suddenly white? Come on Lexus, I wanted a status update, not a surprise paint job!
Vehicle health report of the white car.
All good. But what about the health report of my Nighfall Mica blue car?
Subscriptions
When it’s about money, the car color magically changes to dark blue again reflecting my car. All good for 3 years.
Trip information
I proudly captured this trip details one last time before Lexus decided to send this feature to a better place. The only feature that actually remembered my trips (and very useful) — and they deleted it. RIP, trip history. Not cool, Lexus
And it is also one last reminder of my driving habbits – Hard breaking, harsh cornering, fast acceleration (As if it is possible in this car)!
Remembering the Lexus Obituary for this feature
But wait — where’s the mileage? I tapped, swiped, begged… nothing. One of the most basic features missing. Even humble Maruti Suzuki (yes, your own company or may be not) manage to show this. . Guess luxury means not showing the mileage!
Honestly, I think hiding mileage should be standard on all BMWs. Because seeing 11 mpg after a grocery run? That’s how mini strokes happen.
Lexus Notifications
Way too many notifications. I have a child seat in the back, and every time I lock the car, Lexus thinks I’ve abandoned a toddler. Calm down Lexus — it’s just a car seat.
