Nizamabad: Police commissioner P. Sai Chaitanya remarked that cops are neglecting their health due to busy schedules. He advised them not to do so and take care of their families. “Following nutrition guidelines and regular health check-ups, police should be healthy,” he said.
A free eye check-up camp for police was conducted at the police command control hall on Sunday. Police commissionerate, Shankar Eye Hospital and Phoenix Foundation jointly conducted the programme. Around 450 cops from Nizamabad, Bodhan and Armoor police divisions took part in the eye camp.
Speaking on the occasion, Sai Chaitanya said that eye diseases are fast spreading. As per 2020 rules, everyone who uses computers, cellphones should take 20 seconds gap every 20 minutes from the screen, he said. Probationary IPS officer Sai Kiran, Phoenix Foundation director Chukkapally Avinash and other police officers were present.
