New York Sirens players reflect on growth of women’s hockey, fanbase
Two members of the New York Sirens share their feelings on the growth of women’s hockey and the PWHL.
The Professional Women’s Hockey League playoffs take to the ice in the battle for the Walter Cup.
The top four teams in the regular season will compete in best-of-five series, with the matchups determined not by standings but by the preference of the top-seeded Montreal Victoire.
Under PWHL rules, the team with the best regular-season record gets to select its first-round playoff opponent. The Victoire chose to face the No. 3-seeded Ottawa Charge. The other matchup will pit the No. 2 seed Toronto Sceptres against the No. 4 Minnesota Frost.
Montreal and Toronto will have home-ice advantage in their respective series.
