In a significant military response to the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, the Indian armed forces have carried out Operation Sindoor, targeting multiple locations across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK).
According to an official government statement released on Wednesday, nine sites linked to terror infrastructure were hit as part of the precision operation. Authorities clarified that no Pakistani military installations were targeted, emphasizing the focus on dismantling terror networks without escalating broader military tensions.

“India will not tolerate terrorism and those who support it,” a senior official said, adding that the operation was “based on precise intelligence and executed with minimal collateral risk.”
Further details on the targets or casualties have not yet been released. However, security experts suggest the operation signals a strategic shift in India’s counter-terror doctrine—prioritizing swift, targeted action over prolonged escalation.
