Urban Meyer went through a long period of time where he was one of the best college football coaches in the nation. Many regarded him as the best in the business. He had successful stints with the Florida Gators and Ohio State Buckeyes during that time.
After finishing up his time at Ohio State, Meyer decided to give the NFL a chance. His lone season with the Jacksonville Jaguars was an absolute nightmare.
Since the failure he went through with the Jaguars, Meyer has settled into a more comfortable job as an analyst with Fox Sports.
Recently, Meyer made headlines by sharing his opinion on a new rule. He believes that coaches who lie to the NCAA should be banned from college football. That opinion came out amid the Michigan Wolverines and Sherrone Moore situation.
“I don’t believe it will happen, but if you put a rule in the rulebook… If you lie to the NCAA, your career is over in college football,” he said.

Meyer went through his own situations throughout his coaching career. Fans were quick to jump into the comments section to roast the former elite head coach.
“So looks like Urban won’t be making a college football coaching comeback then,” one fan commented.
Another chimed in, “This can’t be a real quote. Especially from URBAN MEYER of all people??!”
“The most honest man in football is right again,” a third comment read.
A fourth comment said, “Bruh, coach, c’mon now. The king of dirty ain’t saying this.”
“Well that’s one way to announce he’s retired from NCAA and never coming back,” another comment read.
Clearly, Meyer’s comments did not go quite as he expected them to. Fans were not terribly enthused by his opinion on the matter.
