Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) has launched bus services from Cherlapally Railway Station to various parts of the city on 14 routes. The buses ply both ways from the station to eight destinations in and around Hyderabad: Suchitra, Secunderabad; Mehdipatnam, Afzalgunj, Kondapur, Manikonda, Borabanda and Patancheru.
A video with details on the route number, destination and number of trips daily was uploaded from the corporation’s handle @Tgsrtchq on X.

The timings would be displayed at the bus stations in a few days. G.N. Pavithra, deputy regional manager (Secunderabad Division), said that they spoke with deputy commercial manager of South Central Railway (SCR) to display the bus timings in the Railway terminal including on Foot Overbridges (FoB).
Bus services from 3.30 a.m.
To pick up passengers who get down from the trains which terminate at midnight or early in the morning, 15 buses halt at the Railway terminal in the night and the crew takes rest there. “We operate around 40 to 45 buses from 3.30 a.m. to 10 a.m.” said Ms. Pavithra. More buses might be added to various destinations depending on the demand.
The number of trains which halt at the Cherlapally Terminal increased as the Secunderabad Railway Station is being remodelled.
Chengicherla Depot Manager K. Kavitha said that a senior traffic inspector of RTC is posted on duty early in the morning to monitor the bus services. “Around 800 to 1000 people board our buses if one train terminates at the terminal,” said Ms. Kavitha
