“The brave Indian armed forces can wipe out the existence of Pakistan in a day,” the Chief Minister said, highlighting India’s resolve to fight terrorism and praising the valour of the armed forces.
Addressing the crowd that had gathered in support of the Indian Army that launched Operation Sindoor, the Chief Minister referred to the legacy of Mahatma Gandhi and India’s peaceful path to Independence. However, he cautioned that India’s commitment to peace should not be mistaken for weakness.
“The terrorists and their handlers should not mistake our patience as weakness,” he said. “The world has witnessed the might of the Indian armed forces with the launch of Operation Sindoor. If India commands it, our forces are capable of ensuring that Pakistan disappears from the world map.”
Declaring national solidarity in the face of Pakistan-sponsored terrorism, the Chief Minister said the entire country stands united behind its soldiers. He added that political differences had been put aside, with Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, and MP Rahul Gandhi meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi to extend full support to the armed forces.
