Samsung has definitely picked up the One UI 7 rollout pace over the past few weeks. After releasing the update for the Galaxy S21 and the Galaxy S22 in South Korea and the USA, the company has released the One UI 7.0 update for the Galaxy S22 series in India.
The update brings several new features, a new UI design, and other improvements.
Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra now have access to One UI 7 in India
The Android 15-based One UI 7.0 update was released to the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and the Galaxy S22 Ultra in India late last night. The update comes with firmware version S90xEXXUCFYDA and has a download size of over 4GB. It also includes the April 2025 security patch to make the phone more secure.
If you have a Galaxy S22 series phone and live in India, you can now check for the new software update. To do that, you have to navigate to Settings » Software update » Download and install.
If you want to flash the new firmware manually, you need to download the appropriate firmware version from our database and use the Odin tool on a computer running Windows OS. Make sure to back up all your important data and files before manually flashing the firmware so that you don’t lose critical data in case something goes wrong.
The One UI 7 update brings a new UI design, featuring separate pages for the Notifications section and the Quick Panel. It also brings new app icons, smoother and more playful animations and transitions, a new battery icon, new charging animations, and a new widget styling.
