Vijayawada: VK Seena Naik took charge as the new executive officer (EO) of Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Varla Devasthanam atop Indrakeeladri in Vijayawada on Friday. Earlier in the day, Seena, accompanied by his family members, reached Durga temple and offered special prayers to the presiding deity, Goddess Kanaka Durga.Upon taking charge as the new EO, Seena chaired a meeting with the engineering wing and officials of other departments to discuss the services to be provided to devotees visiting the temple.The new EO also conducted a surprise inspection of the laddu and anna prasadam preparation centres on the temple premises. He visited the anna prasadam preparation centre, reviewed the stock register details, and enquired about the Dittam with the officials concerned. tnn
