A total of 86 natives of Telangana who have either been working or studying in the north-western border States of the country have reached Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi over the last few days following the escalation of tensions with Pakistan and a war-like situation in those areas.
According to official sources, State government authorities manning the Telangana Bhavan led by Resident Commission Gaurav Uppal made arrangements for the return of 26 of them to their respective native places in Telangana as of May 11. The authorities are expecting another 100 persons stationed in the border States to approach them over the next few days seeking help for their return to Telangana.
Those reaching the Telangana Bhavan are being given boarding, lodging, medical and transportation facilities for their safe return to their native place in Telangana.
