Harish Rao Slams CM Revanth For Releasing TG Eapcet Results From Home

Hyderabad: Finding fault with Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy for releasing the TG Eapcet results at his residence on Sunday, BRS MLA T. Harish Rao said that official programmes must be held in the Secretariat.

Harish Rao said that no Chief Minister had released the results of competitive exams from their home. “The government releasing the results of the most prestigious Eapcet from Chief Minister’s palace in Jubilee Hills showed the Chief Minister’s arrogance, contempt for governance and for students,” he said.

Speaking on the Sitarama irrigation project, Harish Rao said that the then BRS government had submitted a detailed project report (DPR) to the Central Water Commission (CWC) on October 30, 2018. The CWC hydrology department confirmed in September and October 2021 that 113.795 tmc ft of water was available for the project.

Harish Rao said that the Centre had confirmed in 2021 that 70.4 tmc ft of water could be used under the Sitarama lift irrigation project to provide irrigation water to 6.74 lakh acres in Khammam, Bhadradri, Kothagudem and Mahbubabad districts, and that it could be used for drinking water and industrial purposes.

“Irrigation minister N. Uttam Kumar Reddy spread false propaganda that water allocation had not been made to the Sitarama project,” Harish Rao said
