Hyderabad: Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy on Sunday said slot booking system for property registrations has been successfully piloted in 22 sub-registrar officessince April 10. Starting Monday (May 12), the system will be extended to 25 more offices, as part of govt’s plan to implement it across all 144 sub-registrar offices in the state by the June-end.Briefing on the initiatives taken up by the govt in the stamps and registration dept to streamline the registration process, the minister said property buyers and sellers would no longer need to wait for hours under trees at sub-registrar offices.The phased rollout of the slot booking system will eliminate the long waiting hours, he said.To meet the increased demand in high-traffic offices, additional sub-registrars are being appointed, and the sub-registrar office jurisdictions are being reorganised to ensure a balanced distribution of workloads.The sub-registrar offices where the slot booking system will be implemented from May 12 include Hyderabad RO office (south), Narapalli, Ghatkesar, Malkajgiri, Uppal, Kapra, Bibinagar, Siddipet, Siddipet (Rural), Gajwel, Mancherial, Peddapalli, Warangal RO office, Jangaon, Ghanpur, Narsampet, Kalwakurthy, Narayanpet, Maheshwaram, Rangareddy RO office, Shadnagar, Farooqnagar, Vanasthalipuram, and Serilingampally.
