Hyderabad: The wanted accused, who sold deer meat to a person, went hunting for the deer in the forest in Maharashtra and sold the 3kg meat for 10,000, according to task force sleuths.Three persons, who were in possession of the deer meat, were arrested by the task force on Saturday. Sleuths said the meat was found in refrigerator. Police said that one of the accused bought the meat from one Rizwan, a resident of Maharashtra.”It was Hamid Bin Haqani of Nizamabad who bought the meat from Rizwan before it was supplied to Hassan Bakran and Sheikh Abdul Rahman,” said officials. The officials said that only after the arrest of Rizwan would they know if there were more customers.The accused claimed that they had bought the meat for their own consumption. Police verified the phones of the arrested accused to extract conversation between Rizwan and Hamid. “The arrested accused said Rizwan goes hunting in the forest in Maharashtra and sells the meat to customers,” officials said.
