The car never lacks power. Overtaking is a breeze, especially on those 2-lane highways.

Finally got here to update on my purchase of the Virtus GT Automatic in June 2024. Have done about 12000kms thus far, including a 4000km road trip to Gujarat.
The car was a replacement for my 2011 BMW 320d, which served me well for 5 years and 60,000kms.
My observations:
What’s horrible:
- The car is so confused (D1/D2) at crawling speeds. Considering the condition of the roads around my house, this is a major irritant.
- The rear seats are not the greatest when compared to the decade-old Beemer. The wife complains about how snug the Beemer felt, while this is more of a bench.
- The mileage takes a big hit if you are someone who tries to close gaps in traffic. Sigh, this has turned me into a more relaxed driver.
- The ventilated seats don’t seem like they blow air to your back (seems only the bottom works).
- The 12v socket stays on all the time. My 3-channel dashcam is going to make sure the battery is dead pretty soon.
What I love:
- The lightning-quick gearshifts after the initial jitters.
- Never lacks power, overtaking is a breeze, especially on those 2 lane highways (I do a lot of these, on our regular trips to KL)
- The stance of the car. This is one stylish sedan.
- Just love the suspension setup, makes the car a corner carver. Though the missus sitting at the back would prefer a more softer setup.
- The foldable rear seats are lovely and very useful when we need to move large items. The boot itself is humongous.
- Everything else about the car wants me to drive it every day!
