After Maharaja, Kollywood audiences expected that Vijay Sethupathi would carefully choose his lineup and deliver back-to-back successes, but Ace feels like a routine entertainer, and some believe Vijay Sethupathi is losing his track.
Many viewers, after watching the trailer, have responded on social media that despite the grand visuals, nothing worked, and even Sam CS’s background score felt like a low-effort attempt.

Ace marks the debut of sensational Kannada actress Rukmini Vasanth, and her presence and looks in the trailer were the only positive aspects, according to Kollywood audiences.
However, the Ace trailer has failed to create hype for the movie. Now, the success of Ace heavily depends on positive word-of-mouth from the audience, and it remains to be seen whether Ace becomes a blockbuster success and Vijay Sethupathi’s success streak continues.
